Eva Blum

A husband and wife team, Eva and Julius Blum, were truly representative of the American Dream.

It began in 1957, when Julius, then an employee of Bethlehem Steel Corporation, decided to build his own home in his spare time. He successfully completed the home and that established his family as Home Builders. Through perseverance and dedication to quality, Julius, with the help of Eva, was able to establish a successful home building business. Julius Blum Builders has continued to grow over the years and now has the reputation for being the finest custom homebuilder in the area.

In the late 1960's, Eva completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She pursued a career with Roswell Park Memorial Hospital as a Computer Programmer. Through the years, Eva assisted Julius part time. In 1982, Eva decided to leave Roswell park to devote her energies to the family business. Her excellent management abilities, business skills and attention to detail served to further enhance and refine the style of Blum homes.

Eva has served on the Buffalo Niagara Builders Association (BNBA) Board of Directors as well as Association Committees. In 1987, Julius and Eva were presented the Builders Outstanding Achievement Award.

Julius, in the early 90's, and Eva, in 1999, retired and now the business is in the capable hands of their son's, David and Jeffrey.
